download to external SD
Is there a way to download or move all the books to external SD? I have no more room in the internal and external has 27G's left!

You can move the application + data from Settings | Applications | Manage Applications | Downloaded, but I don't know what would happen with subsequent downloads. There appears not to be a way to separate the data from the application.

Thank you for your reply, Dave, but I don't see "Downloaded" under Manage Applications. I tried moving the books to external SD through "My Files", but then the app couldn't find/open the books.

My understadning is that L4A(ndroid) installs directly on to the SD, and also puts the downloaded books directly to the SD

Per current design yes; but can this not be resolved by a change looking for Logos Books also in a designated folder on an "external" sd card ?
(as appears to be possible re photos and music)0 -

The Samsung Galaxy (maybe others) has an internal SD and I can install a second or external SD for extra space. Its Settings provides an option to move downloaded apps to the external SD.

What are you running on? On the Galaxy Captivate it is under Settings/Applications/Manage Applications/Logos/Move to SD card.

It depends on the android version. I know that honeycomb no longer allows moving to the external SD card. In order to do so the application must have an option within the application itself to set the download folder. Otherwise, if you have an android honeycomb tablet, you are presently limited to internal storage.
Of course, if I am wrong here then please speak up but I fear I am not.
