I too am late in replying. More and more of the Eskimo "national pastors" are getting and using Logos 4. Some run it on a "net book computer." They get online update when they are in the central trading city by using the WiFi at the seminary, the public library or some other place. The seldom really need to update since they are not actively buying resources, and seldom really need the new features. This is working well. I provide what training I can.

They have limited funds so often get a small collection, and we show them the functions they can do that do not bog down their low power computers. This is working well.

A great advantage is that they cannot lose their library due to fire, flood, airplane crash, a boat capsizing, etc. If they loose their computer they get another one (maybe as part of a grant) and re-install Logos. I keep a copy of the distribution DVD so that we can by-pass the long download times on the relatively slow internet in arctic regions.

Daniel thanks for info and I'll earmark your name for future use. The church we visited was in Pifo and Quito is a short trip. Just so everyone knows I received an email from the Spanish department and was told that they are still able to get the version 3 stuff.

Things got installed fine and everyone is happy. I love belonging to God's big family. Thanks again for all the help and support.
