After installing some resources logos 4 won't open at all. it starts and then quits before fully loading.

Welcome [:D]
Logos4.log file has memory allocation (malloc) error when trying to allocate 3.98 GB of memory:
Wonder about available memory ? Likewise wonder about restarting Mac ? (reset memory usage).
Observation: memory allocation is failing early in Logos 4.3 SR-2 startup.
Keep Smiling [:)]
i have 272 GB in available space. restart quite a bit since then. still same issue.
A memory allocation error is related to Random Access Memory (RAM) availability vis disk storage (272 GB).
Wonder how much RAM is installed and free (available) ?
Apple's Activity Monitor utility can show RAM (System Memory) usage, wiki has a screenshot => http://wiki.logos.com/Mac_Troubleshooting#Slow_Performance
i have 686 mb free so that isn't it either.
Observation: 686 MB is less than 3982 MB memory allocation request.
Wonder about manually upgrading to Logos 4.3 SR-3 ?

For some reason, the malloc is asking for 4GB memory... have you tried starting with the "use blank layout" option?
Actually, after a quick look at your logs, this looks like a corrupted install of the program IMHO. I would suggest the following steps:
1. Put the logos application into your trash can
2. Restart your mac (this may be vital to success)
3. download the latest stable version from http://www.logos.com/logos4mac
4. Install the program
5. Startup Logos
now i have 1.8-2 GB Ram free. tried uninstalling, restart, and reinstall. no luck. i can't open any layout because Logos won't load at all.
One option: contact Logos Mac Support => http://www.logos.com/about/contact including reference to this thread. (phone line opens in 17 hours, 17 minutes at 6 am Pacific time Monday)
Another option is attaching new set of diagnostic logs; could use Logos Log Scribe that also includes a copy of console messages.
Since the last Logos 4 update, I too am having the exact same problem on my mac. It won't load at all.
EDIT: I just searched my applications file and found an icon that works. For some reason, the last update corrupted the icon in my "dock" at the bottom of the screen of my mac. Clicking on that icon would not open the program.
Everything you've said, and what the logs point to, leads me to believe you have a corrupted install in some way.
As KS4J has said, you'd do best to contact support. If you don't want to do that, you might want to try the following:
1. Repair permissions
2. Restart with your OS X install/repair disk and check the disk for errors
3. Remove Logos from /Applications reboot, get the latest Logos from link I listed above, install, turn logging on
4. Upload your new logs

I can't open it either: This is the message I get:

This is the message I get:
Please attach crash report and log files (instead of copying and pasting crash report contents).
Option: can edit post to remove log contents, then attach file. Wiki Using the Forums => Editing or deleting posts and => Adding a picture to a Post
Suspect this crash is related to current Logos 4 Mac issue, unable to use online: see threads => Logos unexpected quit , Suddenly crashing - can anyone help? , and Perseus collection download made available - now Logos 4 crashes on startup
Workaround option: use Logos 4 Mac offline. Launch Logos 4 Mac, then quickly press and hold command key until sign in dialog appears, release command key, click Work Offline.
