Philocalia of Origen is not downloading

The Philocalia of Origen is not downloading into my L4Mac. I have the release email with the L3 attachment, and the order is now in the 'order history' section of my account
I have contacted the sales team at logos, thinking that there may be a 'switch' that never got thrown during the order process but their reply was :
Thank you for your email.
I have received another email from someone having this issue with the Mac beta.
Please post on the forums or find his forum and brainstorm there for a solution, as the book is unlocked to your account.
I cannot find the other post [:$]
Anybody got any suggestions?
I have tried, over the last few days, restarting L4Mac, 'update now' and 'update resources'.
I have vague recollections of possibly deleting a db file that will trigger a rebuild ... but I cannot remember which one.
Thanks.

You could double-check this was true by seeing if you can access the resource on biblia.com (although if the resource has only just been released it may not appear regardless).

Hi Martin,
Just as strange - the Philocalia has downloaded on my MacBook but not my iMac. I can access it on my iPad though.
Not much help but 'a trouble shared etc'.

Mike ... you guys never listen (read) .... Origen is no slouch. Even Logos had trouble producing him. Now he's selectively refusing to come down to our computers too. This sounds exactly like right before the Calcedon Council.
But goodness, when you signed up for Origen and he won't come down, that's not good (in the normal sense).

Martin and Mike,
Try restarting Logos 4 again and wait a a couple of minutes for automatic download (if Automatic Downloads are enabled).

Hmmmmm .... [^o)]
Just launched my VM, windows and L4. Tried 'update now' and got the this weeks couple of downloads (NAC Hebrews and the Catholic Councils), but no Origen. Neither the home page report of recently updated resources or the library show it as present.
Manually updating a second time tells me that there are no updates available.
Mark's suggestion about biblia.com shows that the book is indeed unlocked ...
I'll try again later.
I was kinda hoping to get windows to download the file and then scan it across to the mac.

That is bizarre... I have exactly the same problem. It downloaded on my MacBook, but not my iMac.

Are your MacBooks and iMacs on the same Mac OSx version? Are the iMacs set to download automatically with no set timeframe?

Hi Melissa.
I think we were both posting at the same time earlier.
I have since restarted L4Mac, and left it sitting there for 15 minutes. I have seen no notifications that there is a resource waiting (normally I would have done so by now). I have just tried 'update now' with the response 'No updates were found'.
I am using Lion (10.7.1) with Logos Bible Software 4.3 (4.30.0.1517)
I have not updated my Parallels VM beyond 6(? at least it is up to date but not the version the released last month) but other apps within windows have not exhibited and unusual behaviour, and neither has L4, with the exception of not downloading Origen either. For example, the other resources notified me and downloaded normally.
My L4Mac settings are the internet should be used, but downloads not happen automatically. What I normally see would be a message in the corner asking me whether I would like to download x mb of data.
Hope this help
Regards, Martin.

Hi Melissa
Both Macs are on the same version of Lion.
Both are set to download automatically with no set timeframe.
The iMac (sans Origen) is on the Logos Beta Channel the MacBook (with Origen) is on the stable channel.
( I know I had better switch the MacBook before the next beta messes with Sync settings)
Strangely the MacBook Library shows 1142 Resources
the iMac Library shows 1142 Resources (without Origen) so I must have something on the iMac that isn't on the MacBook - I wonder what?

I experienced the same trouble but after installing the stable release 3 it downloaded flawlessly. No idea why Philocaloa refused to download no matter how many times i type in Update Resources or Update Now.
This should work.

Yeh Dan - I did the obvious thing and switched the iMac from 'Beta' to 'Default' down came service release 3 quickly followed by Origen – who is indexing himself nicely as I type.
