Book of Concord Datatype

I have created Personal books of a few Lutheran writings (available in the files section) and so far the links I have made to the Book of Concord have all been based on PAGE of the Kolb/Wengert edition. This is not ideal and there exists a Book of Concord datatype. I have successfully created links to the Augsburg Confession (BookOfConcord:AC) , the Apology to the Augsburg Confession (BookOfConcord:AP) and the Smalcald articles(BookOfConcord:Smalcald). I have NOT been able to make links to either catechism, the Formula of Concord, or the Treatise. Is there anyone who can give me any of this information?

Thank you for the reply. I have made links this way that work. The problem is that they are then hard wired to whichever edition of the Book of Concord I use.

To the best of my knowledge, there have been 4 logos editions of the Book of Concord. I own two of them. In historical order,

1) The Concordia Triglot. - in the original German, the 1584 Latin version, as well as the Bente English translation

2) The Tappert - English only, and the standard edition of the confessions in this country from 1959 until recently

3) Kolb/Wengert - English only, and the new standard (since 2000)

4) The Readers Edition - English only - update of the Bente translation into much more modern language, as well as more idiomatic English.

What I want to do is link to the TYPE and not the RESOURCE. That way the link should work for any of those resources (admittedly, I can only test it with the middle two). Logos has a datatype for this.

Not to quite equate the two, but imagine if I gave bible references in only page numbers of a particular edition. It works for other people who have that edition, but if I say turn to Lk 2 instead of pg. 1958, it will be better in the long run.

So, I want to tell the Logos to link to Augsburg Confession 4 and not Kolb Book of Concord page 38. I have figured out how to do this with three of the documents in the Book of Concord, but not the others.

Can anyone help?

Sorry, I misunderstood. The resource link will give you the datatype, though and I managed to get it going for the unfamiliar Westminster Larger Catechism (as i don't have Concord):

[[Westminster Larger Catechism Question 8 >> logosres:wlcatechism;ref=WestminsterLargerCatechism.Q_8]]

I started with the ref parameter as that has datatype + reference for Question 8:

[[WestminsterLargerCatechism:Q_8]] --> colon is standard for this but some types use the period

That didn't work, so I tried the reference from the label:-

[[WestminsterLargerCatechism:Question 8]]

Bingo!

Just experiment.
