opening page

I used to have this feature automatically. When I open my workspace is there any way I can have my previous worskpace come up automatically?

eg At the moment I am preaching in 1 peter and have a few commentaries open, I then close the page down. when I reopen logos I have to scroll and reopen library. this is long and tedious. I used to be able to just re open logos and it was all there. I tried searching the data base but dont even know what to call it.

Yes on the lower left corner of your home page is a "Customize" button. Click that and unselect "Show home page at startup." It will then start your last layout (saved or not) from where you were when you closed Logos.

Logos will resume where it was just before closing. But if you close a resource it will not remember where it was when you re-open it as Logos uses the "Active" reference e.g. if the last bible reference used is John 3.2 then a new bible will open to that reference, and similar for a word/lemma in a dictionary/lexicon.

If you want to preserve a particular layout then go to the Layouts menu and rename the current snapshot --> see http://wiki.logos.com/Layouts__

Sounds simple, but in my customised set-up button (Logos 5) I don't have "show home page at start-up" Is there any other way to do this?

In Logos 5, this has moved to the Program Settings menu - available under Tools.

The top four are standard - the rest are layouts which I have saved and you should see any saved layouts you may have there.

In the future, I suggest posting in the Logos 5 forum - http://community.logos.com/forums/109.aspx - where there is much more activity.

EDIT: Above I said this change appeared in 5.0. It actually appeared in 5.0b - trying to avoid any confusion!
