Highlight doesn't work anymore in second window

Logos Bible Software 4.3 (4.30.0.1516) (Beta).
I have two windows open, one on each of two monitors. I highlight text in second window, go back to first (main) window and select some highlight feature (e.g. yellow background, or "erase") and nothing happens - repeatedly.
I have assigned letters as shortcut keys and they do work.
I'm finding that the highlight pane must be in the same window as the pane that I'm trying to highlight or erase. This did not used to work this way, and I prefer to have the highlight pane open all the time in one place.
Have a great day,

If I understand you, the problem is almost certainly that somewhere in the panes of the window in the monitor that contains the highlighting tool, you have selected some text somewhere. Then, when in the other monitor you attempt to apply highlighting what is actually happening is that you are highlighting something--may even be in a pane that is hidden behind another--in that other monitor. I demonstrate this problem here: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/35267.aspx
Beyond that, I also very commonly experience an extreme delay between when I select highlighting and when it appears: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/38297.aspx [on PCs, not on Mac--I hijacked that thread]

Thanks for the link. It shows that there is a significant problem in the highlighting feature.
I have the highlighting pane open in the main Logos window on the monitor that is designated the Primary monitor by Windows XP. I clearly highlighted text in a second window, which also happens to be displayed on the secondary monitor. Then, while that text is highlighted, I select the type of highlight in the highlight pane. This used to work fine but in recent weeks (perhaps months?) it has stopped. I repeated the process so that there is no other text selected other than what I want highlighted.
As you report, when I am highlighting something in the same window as the highlight selection pane, there is a long delay. However I've been noticing a steady degradation in response in many areas of Logos as new releases come out. Many features are slowing down. I don't even bother with notes anymore because the delay between typing and screen appearance of letters is too slow. I find that even scrolling or moving around can be frustrating, while at other times it is fine.
Have a great day,
