'Cuz we really need this collection:

  • John of Damascus's  Exposition of the Orthodox Faith
  • Peter Lombard's Sentences
  • Thomas Aquinas's Summa Theologica
  • Philipp Melanchthon's Loci Communes
  • John Calvin's Institutes of the Christian Religion.

Okay, I'll admit that we have at least 2 of them ... it's the first two we need - the beginnings of systematic theology.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."
