Issues with latest Android beta

Samsung Galaxie I896
- had to uninstall and re-install from the logos site as Android Market could not handle the update (said there was not enough space available on my phone - it has several GB of free space on the SD card)
- Latest version available from the Logos site seems to not have the new front page (we are back to opening at the Library ) - it says it is Beta 1 version 6 - was able then to update to version 0.9.0 via the Android Market - but only after manually searching for it - could not find the update from MyApps
- takes an incredibly long time to download user Library information - there seems to be no attempt to keep Adroid from sleeping during the download of the Library (or of books) - on reawakening it is far from obvious if the download has been interrupted or not (in the case of books it seems they often restart the download)
- seems that screen sleep interuptions to download of the Library file could be causing some of the licensed books to not show a download button available - had this earlier today with ESV and several others - could not correct this with the library update button - has to uninstall and reinstall the application.
- After downloading a large book file ResourcesInfo keeps crashing - Android requests OK to force closure - no obvious impact
- need the option when uninstalling and reinstalling the application to KEEP the downloaded book files or to DELETE them

I haven't experienced those issues on Samsung Galaxy S, Android v. 2.3 (using Wi-fi) e.g. it sleeps but I have a notification that it is complete.

That might be some of it, but I have always updated from Market without issue.
