Would this be a good feature? Being able to instantly identify your "local" resources?

Has anyone suggested this?

Somehow flag resources that have been downloaded (i know that they have the green checkmark) but I'm asking something like having them come up in your library separately like "show only downloaded resources" or something like that...

Or for example in a Passage Guide....the option to show only downloaded resources...or "sort by only downloaded resources" or something. I can't differentiate unless I search my library and see the little green check box.

What do you think?

I definitely agree with this, or any way to filter the library.  Maybe a favorites filter (which we can pick), or offline stuff because that's the same stuff I would put in favorites.  Definitely also agree that it would be great to see that in the passage guide/word study so I know which stuff will load quickly.

Sign me up, Robert. You're right on.

    I'd go even further, however...

I'd like for BWS & other hotkeylinks to find THESE resources BEFORE they go look off line. That's why I downloaded them. Since my entire library isn't here (including MAJOR omissions like NA27 &  NIV), my preferences there NEED to be overwritten by expressed preferences here. And the only way I've found so far to express a preference is via what we download.

Prefer them. Not stuff in the cloud.

    Thanks

    Grace & Peace,
    Bill

I agree! I would also like it to open to wherever I was the last time I closed it, to be able to pick my own devotionals, have my prayer requests and also have bookmarks. Thanks Logos for all of your hard work! It's definitely improving.

Or for example in a Passage Guide....the option to show only downloaded resources.

Showing downloaded first is better because that reflects my preferences for the mobile platform and it makes sense even if sync'ing could be relied upon  e.g. I finally got my PC #1 commentary to show in PG but the former #1 shows at #2 when it is outside the top six on my PC; #1 is on the device whilst the other was never downloaded.

One thing you can do for now is put your device in airplane mode.  That will filter out anything that is not downloaded to your device. Resource management is definitely an area that has plenty of room for improvement.

    George,

    Good suggestion!

Does the Passage guide and all that still work in airplane mode?

    Edited to add...nope....

This is one thing that I'd like to see if it's technically possible...having the PG and BWS work while offline even if it's with only the local resources...
