Cannot find way to zoom maps in Android beta

I was looking at Nelson's Bible Map Collection. The maps are almost unusable because there is no (at least no discoverable) way to zoom. On an Android this ought to happen with the pinch or reverse pinch multi-touch gesture. (Obvioiusly there is no scroll wheel or ctrl-+ available.)

If you can do it on your computer then you might expect to do so on the Android  e.g try Logos Deluxe Map Set.

I do indeed expect to be able to do it on Android! My complaint is that I can't. The controls I would expect to use on the desktop don't exist on the Android, and the ones that would be expected to work on Android do not.

I can't try the Logos Deluxe map set because I don't have it.

Same here. No pinch control for zoom in/out in any book I've tried so far--maps, text, you-name-it.
