NAC-LE License Series

I wondered if there was any thought given to putting the new NAC commentaries in the new bundles? I know there's upgrade pricing available, but I imagine that there would be people who expect to see all of the available NAC stuff when they purchase a base package with the NAC included.

I understand why this may not be possible or desired (for pricing, etc), but thought I'd bring up the idea, incase it got overlooked in the midst of the hundreds of new resources you guys are offering in your awesome base packages

Check out www.logos.com/comparison. I believe all the new 4.0 packages from Silver on up include NAC 37 vols. The other two NAC volumes are still in pre-pub, so that's why they're not included, I believe.

I'm just speaking from my experience here, I don't work for Logos. When I bought 3.0 Gold in June, I got 31 volumes of NAC. When I upgraded to 4.0, I got 6 more volumes of NAC, total 37. I have two still on Pre-Pub.

It would be nice if they included those last two volumes of NAC as well (Zechariah and Isaiah 40-66). It seems they included a number of pre-pubs that were close to completion in the base packages for 4.0. I guess we'll have to wait and see if those get added in to the base packages later or not.

That would be nice - then I could save about $40 on those last two volumes. Either way, I don't want to cheat them of the expected revenue.

I was originally unaware that the remaining two volumes were on pre-pub still, but when you pointed that out I wondered why they weren't included anyway because there are things still on pre-pub in this license. Not asking for free stuff, just suggesting that complete series make better ad-copy and easier explanations when demoing the product than partial ones

I really do appreciate Logos' fine work getting these books produced digitally and just wanted to provide my meager half-cent thoughts to consider as they look for ways to improve their product. No one wants to see them go the way of some other Bible software companies. Fortunately at least in the short term, I don't think this is a concern, certainly not with the Zondervan transition underway.

If I remember correctly, about a year ago I was running "update" of Scholar Gold and discovered a couple new volumes had completed publication and been added to my library without any charge or publicity. I was very suprised considering other upgrades (like Word Biblical Commentary) do charge for upgrades. I suppose it could be because the rest of the set was part of the Gold package.

This of course does not obligate Logos to do that again but it would be nice.
