I use logos for android but i own logos 4 platinum edition in spanish. When I long press on a word to start a word study nothing would come up. Just now I tried add some dictionaries to my preferred books list to check if that changed anything. Now I'm getting some results but from 2 resources only. One of the resources is in my preferred list the other is not in the list.

So the question is, Can i configure logos 4 in a way that the app looks at my resources and recognizes them as dictionaries, commentaries, etc. or is it something in the way the app works.

Thanks in advance and may God bless you for your hard work.

After installation your desktop Prioritised resources are applied to your Android version for commentaries, lexicons, dictionaries (e.g. Spanish Dictionary), etc. That should be seen in Word Study and Passage Guide. The live sync from desktop doesn't work too well so I'm still seeing some resources I subsequently demoted on the desktop.

If you have a Reverse Interlinear bible the Word Study should show Greek/Hebrew words in your preferred lexicons. A Spanish resource should show words in a preferred Spanish Dictionary  (English resources use an English Dictionary!) --> these are type:dictionary. But I have many Bible dictionaries (type:encyclopedia) which should be used for words according to my Prioritization but they are not. Is this what you are experiencing? Provide examples.

  • Thanks for your reply. I guess the problem could be in part the sync and the other part the guy using the app (me). I added a few books to me prefered list and after a few updates i manages to get at least the strong definitions working. Thats a plus. Ill just keep playing arrownd till i get the reault i need. Thanks again.
