Just wondering if anyone can tell me a bit more about http://www.logos.com/product/6445/friedrich-blass-greek-studies-collection AND/OR http://www.logos.com/product/6581/ernest-dewitt-burton-new-testament-studies-collection.
I have so much to pay for already this month, and next...but I'd hate to forego these two if they should (you know what I mean) be a part of my library.
Obviously not [:O]
Friedrich Blass is one of the most important Greek grammarians (classical or NT) of the past 150 years. If you have any sort of serious interest in the study of NT Greek, then yes, these book should be in your library. The fact is that there are perhaps less than a dozen truly great grammarians of NT Greek who have ever live and Blass is one of them. He knew Greek probably better than anyone alive today.
Otherwise...well, I don't know what to tell you. Burton...you can probably pass over...
Thank you for your input my friend [:D]
