Please help
recently all I get is "logos 4 has stopped working" please help
Please provide logs as per http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging
Note that the wiki also has a link for uploading logs.
I'm having the same difficulty. Following Dave's advice, I'm attaching the "crash" log file. I LOVE this product and will remain hopeful this lil' issue can be resolved quickly and easily!
As I'm not getting this issue on the Home Page, I'd recommend removing the HomePage folder** and restarting L4. Please make sure logging is still enabled and upload the logos4.log + crash log if necessary.
Can you access a layout of resources OK? - load a blank layout first.
** \Logos4\Data\user id.\HomePage
I removed the HomePage folder and restarted the program, but with the same result… the home page comes up fine… but when I type in a search for Hebrews 8:1-6 it tries to load the page, but then quickly crashes.
I’m not sure what you mean by layout of resources… but I loaded a blank layout and then clicked the Home icon. It brought back my home page just fine.

Would like to look at crash information in Logos4.log file. Wondering if Hebrews 8:1-6 entered on Home Page, then "Go" (should open Passage Guide, Exegetical Guide, 5 Bibles, 1 Commentary, Information, and Text Comparison in a default layout: need Logos4.log file to see what is crashing).
Suspect Dave meant open to a blank layout, then try opening a layout that has resource(s) open (could be a saved layout or older snapshot)

Logos4.log file has an error message: "The database disk image is malformed"
Appears error happening in Commentaries Section within Passage Guide for Hebrews 8:1-6
Apologies: not know which resource, suspect index for resource(s) needs to be rebuilt.
Also noted two errors for Harper's Bible Dictionary (one image is in Biblical Places and the other is in Biblical Things).

OK... one final post. When in doubt... reinstall! Today I uninstalled Logos 4, dumped the entire folder that was left behind, and started over from scratch. SUCCESS!!!

The older adage was "when in doubt... reindex". That might not have fixed it! But in order to save downloading resources Method 3 would be faster.
