Layout messed up

Ok, I am a freshman at a christian college and have recently bought Logos Silver because It was manditory for most of my classes. I am having a problem with the layout of of the program. when my teacher types in a verse, it comes up with the bible, but it also comes up with

Wiki Getting Started with Logos => Home Page + First Steps includes link to Tutorial # 2 – First Steps video that shows Logos default layout when entering a Bible verse on Home Page then clicking "Go" (opens default layout with Passage Guide, Exegetical Guide, 5 Bibles, Commentary, Information, and Text Comparison)

Wiki has Getting Started with Logos => Layouts section that includes a link to another excellent video by Mark Barnes. Logos 4 has many layout possibilities (including floating windows) so can arrange resources as desired.

As use Logos 4 more, am learning to keep less open, using layouts when switching study focus (update current layout, then open another one, or use close all for blank layout)

Don't leave us hanging! Let me take a guess at what you were intending to ask. When I first got Logos, I was tempted to type my passage into the "command" bar, rather than the "Go" bar. Look at the first screen shot below. The second screen shot shows what happens when you enter "John 3:16" and click "Go." If this isn't what you were wanting to know, please reword your question and ask again!
