I just installed Logos 4. Just curious, but I figured it would install over the older Logos 3 version, like other programs. But I have both, now! Do I want to uninstall Logos 3?
Do I want to uninstall Logos 3?
No these are two separate programs.
I have both.
If you have enough Hard Drive space for two sets of resources (they are duplicated) this should not be an issue.
Especially if you have been using the Sermon File "builder." [It has not yet been upgraded from Libronix 3 to Logos 4.]
Others here will chime in with their own preferences (there are a few things that Libronix 3 does differently enough from Logos 4 that some have opted to keep both.
Welcome to the forums!
You are correct that Logos4 does not remove Logos3. You can keep both and even use them side by side, if you want! Pretty cool.
Before uninstalling Logos3, you may want to get a feel for L4 first. Many things in L3 work better in L4, but the logic behind the interface is quite different. It takes some getting used to. So, if you keep L3 for a while, you could fall back to L3 for those times you need something done quickly. Also there are a few things that work more slowly in L4, depending on your computer hardware, and a few other ubiquitous factors. This can be noticed in taking notes, highlighting and some other things. For some these things are negligible, for others they make L4 almost unusable.
You will also want to import your notes and such into L4. You can do that by typing import all into the command bar.
Other helps can be found in the wiki (see the link in my signature line below), or in these forums. Feel free to ask here about how to do things, if you find the wiki too difficult to navigate, or if something just doesn't seem to make much sense.
Again, welcome to the forums! You'll find us to be a varied lot, but most of us like to help each other use L4 better. We learn a lot from each other here.

Likewise have both installed; also adding purchases to my Libronix 3 library by using links found on https://www.logos.com/user/orders page. Looking at resources in Libronix 3 have option to display resource licensing. For example, Baker Exegetical Commentary was in Scholar's Library: Platinum (LE).
Also, Libronix 3 can read previous Personal Book Builder (PBB) resources.
