Update Error

An update has been downloaded in the background and I was asked to install it. OK.

Now I have an 'Update Error!' ... An error occurred while extracting the archive. Please try again later ... Cancel Update

From this I would assume that the downloaded update file is corrupt.

Would 'try again later' mean that L4 will re-download the update or simply try to extract the data from the same file?

If I found the URL of the installer and used that to reinstall L4 would that work and would I loose my 35 hours of indexing again?

Martin,

Grabbing the latest version and re-installing will not wipe out your indexing. We don't store the application in the same place as all your personal data (resources, indexes, etc).

The latest version is available from: http://downloads.logos.com/LBS4/LBS4MacInstaller/Logos4Mac.dmg

Estimate for the indexer is back up to 45 hours but that is what being part of an Alpha is about ....
