Library Search inconsistency...

I noticed the following blog entry illustrated finding a resource from the library using "title:easy"
seems simple enough...however I noticed that if i put "title: easy" (space between colon and "easy") i get two resource hits, if i remove the space (between the colon and "easy") I get 13 hits. Cleary title:easy (no space) gives the coreect results, but what is the "title: easy" (with the space) doing?

If you have the space in there it's treating it as two filters to be matched with an assumed AND between them, so it's matching all resources with "title" somewhere in any of the metadata fields and which also have "easy" somewhere in any of the metadata fields.

Without space, colon separates keyword and value (can have comma separated list within parenthesis set). With space after colon, then colon effectively ignored. Library search for "title easy" has same results as "title: easy" (can include resources with title and easy in description: e.g. Managing Pastoral Care).
