Problem with collection rule

(subject: ("Episcopal Church" theology)) OR (author:"Hall, Francis")

Either half of this rule gives the expected results but the combination does not - order doesn't change results. What am I doing wrong?

Sorry, can't help MJ. I get zero results with both halves of your rule.

subject: ("Episcopal Church" theology)

If you are looking for a Subject string that contains those words in that order with only punctuation between them, use

subject:"Episcopal Church theology"

else use

subject:"Episcopal Church" AND subject:theology

If the Author can be Hall or Francis use

author:(Hall, Francis)

If both must be in Author use

author:Hall AND author:Francis

Note that author:"Hall, Francis" may work but it means Hall AND Francis in that order in the Author string!
