Logos on Android 2.1 Tablet from Nextbook

I just downloaded and installed the Logos app. Seemed to install fine. However, when I try to enter a passage, the app shuts down. When I select Thoughts for the Quiet Hour, the app works for a few seconds, then does nothing. When I click on Morning and Evening, it shuts down. What could be wrong?
