Updates in V4

In V3 it was possible to determine what updates were going to be installed - in fact you could choose to delay installation.  Is it possible to determine what update are being downloaded in V4? installed?

I do see where I can delay the installation - but it would help to know what I am delaying.  If it something I do need immediately (e.g. for this weeks sermon), I choose to delay.  The opposite is also true - if the updates are to tools I am currently using, I will probably want to get the update as soon as possible.

Executive and editorial decisions as to which details are helpful and which levels are TMI are gonna leave lingering complaints and kudos for some time.  Consider the success of the Apple Ipod...few bells and whistles, designers decide what users want...the public ate it up.  Same thing hit Microsoft Office 2007.  Lamentable for those of us who invested years using and learning its powerful predecessors.  Nevertheless, I'm not sure what was wrong with the extra detail and options for those who want them.  Give users an overall setting option; "Do you want: A) Program Simplicity, Power Features, or C) Full Program Control.  On the other hand, the Edsel had lots of bells and whistles, and has become a synonym for failure.  In any case, writing a good program is like delivering a good sermon.  Dig in deep, get into the nuts and bolts, and then build it in a way that is winsome, concise, substantive, and inviting.
