Duke Papyri Collection and Word Studies: No Results

I downloaded the Duke Documentary Papyri Collection, let the indexer finish, and re-started Logos 4. I am not getting any results in Bible Word Studies. I am using Greek words I know are lemmatized in the Collection. Has anyone else had any luck or is this user (me) error?

Ditto. But I suspect it's similar to NT papyri due to the missing letters, guesses, fill-ins and so forth.

It's easy enough to hover your mouse over the Duke papyri and see it's not tagged (though a right-click can often find a lexicon match).

I think they're most useful when you want to see the literal document that's being referenced, especially in MM. Ditto on the NT papyri.

I'm confused because I see the same data (lemma and morph) in the Papyri Collection that I see in the Classics Collection which does show up in Word Studies. I'm just remembering that, due to an error, the Apostolic Fathers did not show up in Word Studies in early versions of Logos 4.

Hi Brad,

Some words weren't tagged. Others were. Picking a few that were, the "Textual Searches" portion of BWS wasn't populated. At all. After several that produced no result, I found a preposition (eis) that I knew should have LOTS of hits... Still 0 hits in textual searches, but now if I clicked on one meaning from the graphic circle chart, I get lots of NT hits...

Looks like the Textual Searches section of BWS isn't working for Duke papyri, so far.

I see the same thing happening. I think Logos needs to add a section in the textual searches for the papyri.

Concur not included in Bible Word Studies. Also learned Morph Search finds nothing, but search this resource does find entries.

Right clicked on a work in Duke Papyri, then clicked search items. From Duke papyri, can open Bible Word Study (but textual searches lacks line for Duke Papyri).

I appreciate Logos making these resources available. I salivate at the thought of incorporating the papyri into my Greek word studies.

Can someone from Logos comment on whether there are plans to include the papyri into the Bible Word Studies tool?

We have some more development work to do to make the morphological search that underlies Textual Searches work on DDbDP.

We weren't able to complete it before the release of Perseus, but we do plan to make it work.
