It gives an error that I don't have permissios to a directory that I should.
Do you remember if, when you first installed Logos 4, you right-clicked Logos4Setup.exe and chose "Run as Administrator"? Or did you just run it, and approved it when it requested elevation? (If Logos4Setup.exe was run as a regular user the first time, it shouldn't have created any non-writable folders.)

I don't remember for sure, but probably woldn't have, since it was loaded from the web, I would have just clicked run.

I have the same issue - installed normally - not as 'Run as Administrator'.. Now every time I have a L4 update I need to run L4 as administrator.
Yet my user account has full privileges.
Any suggestions/work-around?

Brent,
I take it you still have this problem. I wonder if you could run a small program for me which will make a list of permissions for the folders in your Logos4 installation folder.
The program is linked below. To run it, save it to your Logos4 folder, which is C:\Users\bhoeflin\AppData\Loca\Logos4, rename it ReportFolderPermissions.bat, then just double-click it from Windows Explorer. It will create a file named Permissions.txt in the same folder. Please post that file back here and I'll check it out.
Thanks!
Bryan
