delete books from listing on iphone

Not only can't I wait for most of my important books to show up on the Library on iphone, but I would like to eliminate some from view. I see "Cairo Geniz Targumic Frament...." list many times and I am always trying to scroll past that long list to get to more useful books to open (without having to put everything into Favorites). Is there a way to not show those books?

If you are looking at the list form the Bookshelf tab that is the ones you've opened. the other is the complete library. Just use the Bookshelf.

This does not help until you have already gone through the library list to pick books to add to the bookshelf tab. Is there a way to filter books?
