The orange/yellow flashing star thingy that showed the position of the verse when clicking on a search result has disappeared in the latest beta (4.5 beta 1)
I am not able to reproduce this issue in 4.5 Beta 2. I don't believe anything has changed in Beta 2 that would affect this behavior, but you may want to start with updating to Beta 2 at any rate. Otherwise, if you could post your diagnostic logs that would be very helpful.
Turns out "Show Visual Cues" was set to No in preferences. Not sure how this occurred (perhaps I changed the setting previously and forgot). Anyway, setting it to "Yes" fixed the "problem". Thanks for the quick response.
