Library Number of Resources Inconsistent on two Logos 4 macines.

I have my LOGOS 4 Scholar Platinum JG on two Windows Vista Ultimate computers, and I have had automatic update turned on since I  first went to Logos 4 two years ago, yet the Logos library on one machine shows 2688 volumes and  on the other Logos library shows 2690. I have no outstanding updates as I have stopped and started each recently for resource updates. The difference has been around the better part of a year. I even tried comparing library lists back when the count was around 1600. Back then I also tried listing uninstalled resources on the now 2688 machine. Nothing showed. Is there a reasonably automatic way to identify the 2 resources 'missing' on that computer?  Also there is plenty of disk and sufficient or better memory. -jdp

There is a way to ask Windows to list the files in one folder that are not in another one:

1. Set up so you can see both library folders at once, e.g. by sharing on a network or copying to a large thumb drive.
2. Open a command prompt, and navigate to the folder where your logos resources are found.
   On a Windows 7 machine that will be like this:
   CD C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\<random>\ResourceManager\Resources
3. Switch to the other drive, and navigate to the right folder.
   This example assumes the files are on P: drive in a folder named MyLogosFolder:
   P:
   CD \MyLogosFolder
4. Switch back to or original drive:
   C:
5. Enter this command:
   for %f in (*.*) do if not exist P:\%f echo %f

This command loops through all files in the current folder (the logos resoruces one) on the current drive (usually C:). For each file found, if it does not also exist in the default folder of P: dirve, it echos the file name to the screen for you.

To compare the other direction, switch to the other drive and compare the other way, i.e.:
P:
for %f in (*.*) do if not exist C:\%f echo %f
