I did a fresh install of Logos 4 Alpha 2. When I started the program, it showed "logging in" and then the blue/white spiral stopped and that was that. Activity Monitor showed Logos 4 "not responding". I would have attached a screenshot along with the log, but I couldn't figure out how to attach 2 files.
What surprised me is that, even though Logos 4 was frozen, an invisible background process keeps on working according to the log. I say invisible because I have no blue icon in the menu bar and, if I didn't know about the log file, I would never know anything was going on.
So...why the lockup with Logos 4? Where's the blue menu bar icon? And...under these conditions should I let the background app run to (maybe) completion? Will Logos 4 app actually run then? Or should I just wait for Alpha 3?
