How do I recover? This on the heels of reinstalling the software, downloading the resources, and indexing. My index should be complete. I know you want log files. I don't recall how to get them. Logging had not yet been turned on.

I'm not expert here, but have you tried starting with a blank layout? (Just hold the control key as Logos starts and select that option on the opening dialog box.)
If that works, you may have a bug in your layout. Rebuilding it, or loading a previous version of the layout should fix it.
Looking in Logos4.log file, noticed opening LLS:SCRIPTURES1998 to John 1:1 (with text size 13.3333) is followed by a crash.
Wonder about starting to a blank layout, then try command: open SCRIPTURES1998 to John 1:1
Keep Smiling [:)]
KS4J, that command didn't do ANYTHING.Richard, you were correct. Opening up a blank layout and another previously saved layout did not crash Logos. My main layout is the culprit.

Glad you got it fixed.
I'm only guessing, but there was probably a faulty bit of data in the saved layout. If you recreate what you had, it will probably work just fine. If you have further problems, please report.

Apologies [:$]
Wonder if command open Scriptures to John 1:1 works ? (not have Scriptures resource to test; have used open ESV to John 1:1 command)
Peace, KS4J! *smile*
That command works very well indeed!
