I have a cool idea for seminary students

I just had a great I idea for seminary students, but you know how that goes good ideas are in the eye of the beholder. I think LOGOS 4 has something whenever seminary students graduate or are are in the midst for licensing they have to take all these test it would be great if you could organize your home screen to your liking. Maybe to prepare for your license exam or ordination.

Please elaborate what would like for Home Page customization ? Wonder about this week's calendar with Prayer and Reading plan items with links ?

Wiki Getting Started with Logos => Layouts includes Tips and links. Could name layout(s) for paper(s), test(s), and exam(s). Logos can open to last set of open items or Home Page.

Personally open to Home Page, which includes Weekly and Daily Prayer Lists plus some reading plans in ribbon bar.

Keep Smiling I am thinking of something more eleborate maybe aimed at seminaries or students testing to help them prepare. For instance lincensure in the PCA is said to be very hard. It in include book oulines of every book of the bible, book contents, theology, difficult topics. I would purpose being able to have a customize able like to display nope where prayers are or difficult bible topic bible topic. or have special blog topic from desired blog

This sounds to me like it may be a candidate for a Personal Book, a Reading list (can link to blog or Zotero copy of blog), and a saved layout.

The reason I made the suggestion for creating it for oneself is that it needs to be tailored to the requirements of each seminary/denomination/certification i.e. there is not a large market. However, a particular denomination or seminary could set it up as shareable pieces.

MJ call me the maverick. I know the ratio regular compared to pastors and seminarian does not compare, but is we add teachers to the mix we may have something here now will we have a product that would well like logos as no, but this would not be that much harder. For instance, when video cards are made they sell two types the downgrades and upgraded both have capabilities though. It would take alot of research and that would be the money that would cost to go into it.

Logos' customer base is something over 750,000 if I recall correctly. I have no idea of the number of seminarians confronting similar requirements but given the diversity of Christianity in the US alone whatever that number is, is a splintered purchasing group. A denomination might be able to enter into an arrangement with Logos to have the material published in Logos format. But I suspect that when the Logos storefront for sharing opens, it would be cheaper for a denomination to go a PB/shared resources route.

I'm not trying to put down your suggestion - I trying to say that it is probably very close to possible but the finances are iffy enough to look at doable alternatives.

As a seminary student, I took only four or five tests - total, and they were in my Hebrew and Greek classes. Most of my other classes, we wrote papers.

From my experience, there are very few tests. I was asked why I believed something, and then I had to articulate why.
