Customizable timeline?

Something I loved doing in Bibleworks (ver. 4.0) when I had it, was being able to edit the preset timelines. So I could add events from secular & biblical history, etc., all on the same timeline, to help me keep in mind the broader historical context for the biblical passage I might be studying. Is there a way to do this in Logos 4?

Sorry, Matt, no there isn't. We could do that in Libronix (Logos 3) but not in L4. Unfortunately those can't be imported into Logos 4, either. The capability to do this in L4 has never been promised, and I doubt it will be.

I wonder --if someone were really clever with Microsoft Word 2010 -- whether that person could create a Personal Book with his/her very own personalised timelines.

To me it seems that Logos 4 could handle such a clever .docx file!

PBs don't allow Lines or Text boxes (the word doc below renders nothing in the PB

Not being able to use Lines & Text boxes really makes it difficult to make a timeline.

But you can take a screenshot of your timeline and add the picture of it to your word docx and create it into a PB (see below PB)

Many of mine have sizing problems - getting a full graphic image to compile in is problematic.
