Greek Audio Bible

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knows how to find their Greek Audio New Testament and have it play in Logos 4? Thanks

There was some discussion here: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/3334/25527.aspx#25527
Something to the effect of it only works with your Nestle-Asland v.27. God Bless!

Many thanks Anthony! I already had the NA27 in my top 5 Bibles and now I have it talking too!!! I have been searching for this for 3 days now. That was really easy!! Catherine

Hi,
I am using this version of NA27:
Nestle-Aland Greek New Testament, 27th Edition, without Morphology
The Greek Audio Bible works fine in my L3 (although I don't know why I can't install it on a 2nd PC), BUT it does not work in L4 (even the L4 and L3 both on the same machine)!
I have read the other post about this issue, and once I have the little audio bar on the top right-hand corner. However, after some updates by L4 automatically, the bar disappeared ONLY for my NA27.
Am I missed something to have the audio Bible works in L4? such as moving the audio files...I am sure it works in my L3.
Thanks!

Hi Gerry,
I don't know about you, but I have 4-5 choices in my Gold library for the NA 27. The one that worked with the audio
Bible has the longest name to it:NA 27 with Gramcord....and McReynolds Interlinear Bible
I am guessing here, but I think that the audio Bibles with interlinear are the ones that work with the audio both for Greek and English.
Hope this helps,
Catherine

To get it playing you should only have to pres CTRL+R and it should start or to to the top corner to the tab menu and click read aloud. Let me know if this works for you otherwise I will put up some screen shots

[edit] If it is still not working "can you check your Logos 4 Resources folder to see if the ELNT.lbxaud file is present? If it's not, try typing update resources in Command box to download it." (This came from Melissa Synder)
To find this it may be easiest to do a search for the file name in the system. If you are running Vista you can do this where it says "start search" just below "All Programs"
How to ask for help for Logos issues.

Well, that solves why my Greek Audio bible isn't working....I don't have that file...
I've updated resources...but nothing..

I have only 1 version of NA27, and it works with the audio Bible in L3.
I do have "ELNT.lbxaud" in my Resources, but the audio Bible still not working....am I missed the audio files or...?

My Audio Bible is still not working...
How do I know the Audio Bible is NOT working AT ALL, or just loading so I need to wait?
I have 2 PC:
1) Centrino Duo 2.00GHz, 1.5G ram, WinXP Sp3 (with L3 Greek audio Bible installed)
2) CPU unknown, 1G ram, Vista Sp2 (with L3, but Greek audio Bible not being installed)

Open NA27 and press Ctrl-R. If the audio controls don't appear next to
Layouts in the top right corner then it's not working, also make sure you're up to date; Help
-> About Logos Software -> SR-5, 4.0.3.2700... There were some problems with this in some earlier releases...0 -
Jon,
I have 2700 and I've had the issue the whole time.
I get the little audio thingy coming up..but no passage being read..and no sound...

My L4 is SR-5, 4.0.3.2700, the most up-to-date version...
Once in the older versions, the little "audio bar" did come up for my NA27 with the M$ human voice speaking transliteration....
after some updates, the bar even disappear and L4 hangs for a while. Nothing happened in/after the "hang" time...

Fair enough, I thought I'd check as I couldn't get it working mid last week, but it's working fine now... Maybe you could try enabling logging (http://sites.google.com/site/logos4wiki/faq/troubleshooting) and see if anything shows up? [^o)]
EDIT:
also just in case (and at the risk of sounding patronising) it does work in NA27, and doesn't work in UBS4 which are two separate resources even though people talk about them synonymously...

Jon...
No problem...I'm not offended brother...I've checked it on most of my Greek resources....and no joy.
I'll post a log....I was just waiting until the week died down for the staff....

I don't understand all the wordings in log files...may be it is useful for someone to find out the problem...
Thx in advance.

I am thinking of purchasing the Greek Audio NT to work with L4 and was wondering if the problems discussed above have been resolved? I just wanted to check it works with L4 before I pay out!
Thanks in advance.

Andy,
it seems to be hit or miss still.
Mine works now, but only because I went to Win 7 (probably) and so it was never "really" resolved technically.

Thanks, Robert.
I have just moved to Windows 7 myself and will, therefore, give it a try.
Even if it is hit and miss, I presume someone at Logos will address the problem at some point in the future.
Thanks again
