Recently, my Logos 4 has become very lagging. I have to click several times then after interval of several seconds it responds.
Anybody knows why and have any suggestions to fix it?
Window 7 AMD 9650 Quad core, 8 gig.

Could the program be indexing? Is the blue Logos 4 icon visible on the right side of the Windows taskbar?
I'll see if it is lagging when indexing.

The intent of the question was to know if the program is indexing NOW. We realise it will be worse if it is indexing!
Please describe what is lagging e.g. opening a resource pane, right clicking a word.

I had the same issue for almost two years. I would click on a tab in Logos 4 and every time it seemed to take several seconds go to that tab/resource.
I just chalked it up to being a slow program and spent my time using Logos 3.
Yesterday I was playing around with Logos 4 after doing a fresh install of it. The problem though 'fixed' itself after I removed the MacArthur Bible study (NASB I Think) from the list of books that always stay open/open automatically, in Logos 4.
After closing just that one resource, the program is fast now. I added some more and the issue has not returned (though it does if I re-add that resource). I have about 20 books/bibles open. It makes me wonder if there is some sort of error or corruption that causes problems with the program, but I don't know. This was a fresh install (re-downloaded everything from the internet from scratch).

Thanks for sharing your story. I will look into that. I don't have the MacArthur Bible Study open. However, I will check the opened resources if one of them is the cause or not.
Yes ... a book problem can happen in L3 too. Last week there was a new resource that would bring L3 to its knees (I think they're fixing it).
Please elaborate about clicking. A screenshot would be helpful so can try to replicate. Also wondering if resource(s) recently added to library ?
Observation: after Perseus shipped, added many collections, so search drop-down now takes bit longer to display because my library now has more collections and series to show.
By the way, Logos User Voice suggestion => => Improve Logos 4 Menu Responsiveness was created because of noticeably lag in drop-down menus (especially Files, Guides, Layouts, and search drop-downs).
