We’re exploring names for a new annual conference, and we need your help picking the best name.
Please take 60 seconds to fill out this three-question survey:

Done.
But it's a table of choices. Not just three questions.
And it made me think. That made it take longer than 60 seconds.
(Too keep this all objective, I won't mention my choices, nor my favorite. I hope others will refrain too.)
Do you really mean the conference would be for pastors? I am not one so I did not feel qualified or the right audience to complete the survey.
Surely you don't intend pastor=preacher/homilist
that would be falling into a logical error
Done. I gave you a truly great idea. (How humble!)
For most protestants yes, pastor=preacher. But we've tried out quite a few words as titles for this role: minister, reverend, parson, and now pastor. In many protestant churches, preaching is the central event (vis a vis Roman Catholic, Orthodox and some others where the eucharist is central). So the church leader, usually called "pastor" is also expected to be the preacher.
BTW, among many of us protestants, the term "homily" is used to describe a short chat on something of interest. It is an hor d'oeuvre, where the sermon is a full meal. Not saying it's right, or good, just saying that's how I hear the term used.

I was also thinking of the churches that deliberate don't have pastors but use terms like "teaching elder" ... so I thought Logos deserved a bit of teasing.
I'm glad to hear you distinguish between homily and sermon - previously people have suggested that they are identical. And your distinction is based on the historical uses of the terms.
Edit: you just gave me an epiphany. Catholic communal worship always includes Scripture. Weekday Masses may or may not have a homily. But lay led services which are "bare bones" are either a Liturgy of the Word - scripture with an optional reflection - OR a Liturgy of the Hours - psalms and scripture. Even the rite for a lay person to take Communion to the sick has a short Scripture section with no reflection/homily.

Was it as great as the idea I didn't give them Logolepts Anonymous?
I guess I was trying to figure out is this for all USERS or just pastors? If not why not say so?

Humbly, of course, I think it was. [;)] And it will certainly catch the attention of pastors for a reason I cannot divulge but you will understand once Logos announces the conference name.
