I have a dictionary that isn't showing up in the guide. It should show up in the exegetical as far as I know. I had other dictionaries that I didn't prefer.
What do you mean by dictionary? Which dictionary? Can you give a screen shot?
Harpers. The NASB one was there but I prefer this one. Are the dictionaries suppose to show up in the exegetical guide?
The Exegetical Guide will link to Lexicons in the Word-by-Word section. The NASB dictionary is a rudimentary Greek and Hebrew lexicon (which is, of course a Latin term for dictionary), the aim of the NASB dictionary is quite different from Harpers,
I understand the concept. Is there a way to link it to bible text or TWOT or TDNT?
It should use those resources automatically. Try hitting the more button in the word-by-word section to expand its listing of lexical entries. Prioritize these resources to put them at the top of the list.
See: http://wiki.logos.com/Prioritizing and http://wiki.logos.com/A_Sample_Prioritize_List
Yea, I have done that already. : )
So Gary, are you saying that you have prioritized TDNT as the top Greek Lexicon and it doesn't show up in the Word-By-Word section even when you click more?
What's your OS, version of Logos? What's the support info for TDNT? Can you do searches? Can you go to TDNT from the right click menu from a RI or other morph tagged resource?
Could you include a screenshot of what your exegetical guide looks like?
