Why does Logos 4 search "My Content" when I have no notes, handouts, clippings or other personal content? It takes up to 5 seconds to do this but there is nothing to search! Can this be disabled?
If your talking about the passage guide, it can be fixed by making your own custom passage guide and not having "My Content" as an option.

No, I am doing just a Basic search on a collection I created.
Harry, 5 seconds seems like a long time for that search. Mine is finished in .04 seconds or less.
I guess it can't determine you don't have anything in your content without doing the search. Right now we cannot customize this part of the search. I don't think there are plans to let us do so.

If personal content is indexed, the search should be nearly instantaneous. But if I am searching a Collection, why should it do a search of that personal content at all?
But is our personal content indexed? I haven't noticed the indexer coming up when I enter a note or something.

Maybe what we need is a custom search guide. I think that would be kinda cool. Doubt we'll ever see it, though.
I had asked about this during the beta and I THOUGHT that there was a plan to make it able to be skipped...
