Font size in the handouts?

I am wondering how to change the font size in the handout option? My church is mostly 55+ and the current font is incredibly small, too small for them to read.

Also, related to the handout, can the maps/pictures/puzzles size be increased?

Either change the size via the Handout's tab Menu (if slider is present) or change the size in the output after Exporting e.g. change font size in Word.

Your handout draft should open in a floating window. Best if you maximize this floating window to full screen.
On the left hand column of the floating window you have a sequential list of the handout component items and on the right hand column you have the layout as it will appear on one of the handout pages.

At the bottom left of the RIGHT hand column you will see the default layout style of Classic. You can use the arrow pull down to the right of this word to change layout style to something that might be easier for your audience to read: alternatively you may want to adjust the font in each handout item (or in selected items only as you feel is most appropriate).

As you bring your mouse cursor over each of the items in the left column, it will highlight (on mouse over) and at the top right of the item you will see an EDIT option. Click that EDIT link and you will get the item text displayed in a new left column context which will allow you to edit the text. You can use this to edit the font attributes, font size, change teh font type to Arial to make it easier for older eyes to read, correct typos, add notes, make some text BOLD, italics or change the indent to suit the audience and context of the item in the handout. Click the DONE button at top right of the left column to complete the edit and see the result.

Use the blue "options" at the top left and right of the RIGHT hand page view column to customize the DATE to the date you want to deliver the handout and the author/organization option to your own organization/church name or the particular small group name if you are using the handout for a small group study. Whatever best fits the message and your audience.

I see the slider, but that only changes the font size for my reading pane and not the actual handout. You mention exporting, how? I see no exporting options, only print.

I followed you all the way down until clicking on the edit option. When I did it only allows me to edit the font aspects of the Bible verse on the handout. Other items, such as the map and the geneology charts are not changable and come in something like a 2 font size, lol. My eyes are good and not even I can read the names without difficulty. It would be nice to be able to stretch those boxes (like when you add a picture to power point and want to increase the size of the picture) so that they could be read, but currently I don't see how to do that.

That may be so as I don't have any Handouts. But try Ctrl+P.

A. Handouts doesn't have a Slider for sizing text in its menu (at least for 4.3 Sr-3)

B. Ctrl P does the same thing as clicking on Print, it brings up a print dialog box. This acts differently than other L4 windows as it does not bring up the normal Print/Export window. Also notice in the first picture Print/Export is missing from the menu.

My preference is to use Clippings, so I was hoping Handouts were similar!
