Downloading Books
Got a new Ipad few weeks back; downloaded few books since I was going out of town. I thought, if I do not have internet available, I can still read the books I downloaded on my Ipad. But, later when I tried to access books to read, nothing showed up. When I tried to open a book it said something like 'cannot load' or 'error loading' and so on. Now, why is that? I thought we can download any book on it and read it later on. The "recent history' was gone (disappeared - some books that I read or referred to, were in the history, but once i tried to open them where there is no internet, they are gone).
What would be the problem? Can someone help please? Is there such a thing that Ipad should have internet in order to use logos even if we download books? Anything I do, or 'try' to do, it tries to connect to internet. I am thinking: if this is the case then logos on ipad without internet connection is not useful/helpful; which them makes me think that it is good to sell that thing (ipad), because that is THE reason (to use it for logos), that I bought that Ipad for.
Please help me what to do
Thank you
Joel

Hi Joel,
Did your books by any chance disappear when you updated your software to iOS 5? There has been an ongoing conversation about this here:

Apparently, when you updated your software all of your downloaded books go away and need to be reinstalled. If this is not the problem, then perhaps you can specify and we can work on it more.
