Crappy sales for Pastor's month

So can someone explain to me why in the world are the sales all redundant? Why do you wanna cram all the counseling and worship (which implies leadership) collections to us. Really? Come one, offer the Nelson Bundle (same as eBible PASTOR'S EDITION) for $399 like the good third parties do. Don't be offering redundant material. Counseling or worship is not all Pastors do you know? Get the hint? Geez! Talk about trying to sell all the volumes you don't sell as much!

I almost hate myself for responding to this thread, but there is a very simple logic for things such as this: if you don't like the product being offered, don't buy it... If you are trying to encourage Logos to diversify what they are offering at sales price, polite dialogue with Logos (not the user forums) would be the better way to go.

What'd you want? personally, most have not applied to me, but I really like Webber's Worship set. had I not owned that, it is a terrific resource. Btw, Giovanni--I once used that word in a sermon once. didn't go over so well.

Well, I'm a pastor and I appreciate that Logos gave me a free book and that they chose to offer these specials to everyone, not just pastors. I just might find something next week that I'll spend for. (I keep checking.)

The first week was Leadership themed, the second was Worship, and this week was Pastoral Care.

Perhaps next week you will find something of interest among their Preaching titles.

I am very grateful for that too. I was very happy to see the offers were extended to everyone and that they run through the end of October.

The Hebrew Bible Bundle (54 vols.) was offered on the Twitter Daily Deal for 50% off. I hem-hawed around in indecision until the coupon expired at midnight. I have regretted not getting it. At least I can mull over these Pastor Appreciation specials for another week before I miss out.

There has already been some commentary to these comments. I guess I would ask if the spirit in which it was written was grateful or bitter? Seems to me that if someone offers us a special price, isn't that a blessing...even if we elect not to take it. Kind of reminds me of the parable of the workers and their wage. If logos wants to give us a discount, I appreciate it, even if I elect not to take advantage of it. They aren't obligated to give us anything. Personally, I think they have given some pretty amazing deals over the years. Our attitudes here should reflect the heart of our Lord as much as when we stand in the pulpit or the market. Thanks Logos for even recognizing us.
