well anyways how would i be able to get more bibles on my device? all i have now are ASV. i do have logos4 for mac & windows if that matters. if i log in, does everything i have on desktop sync with the phone (aka whatever books i have on the desktop i can access via the cloud on my device?). thanks!

Go to Library and browse until you find a resource you like. Press the circled Arrow button on the right side and then press the Download button. This will load onto your device so you can browse it offline as well as have it load quicker. Note that you may not find all your resources in Library due to publisher restrictions for mobile devices.

If you have only a very few resorces showing up on the app, make sure that you are signed in to your Logos account on the app. (If it is the same as iOS) More > Settings will take you there.

I would also urge you to sign up for emails in the Account > Notifications section at logos.com. I am pretty sure that Logos NewsWire would have told you about the Android app. The is also an Android email group.

    Welcome [:D]

Logos released Android Beta app in June 2011; later renamed "Android Beta" forum to "Android" after many Android app improvements.

    Keep Smiling [:)]

too bad it doesnt tell you how large the download is

The download consists of the Logos4 resource + TOC + Milestone data. The TOC/Milestone data is 1.5 - 2.0 MB for my bibles, commentaries,
& lexicons but it is 9.9 MB for MW Dict v11!

if it can save to memory card or not

There is no option to do that and if you moved it manually the app would not know where to look!

ok well if 10mb is on the higher end of things, i think i can sacrifice that space. only got 12gb of space on my device but that is more than plenty!

Plus the size of the resource as on desktop Logos4 e.g.

MW v11 is 70 MB. Total download is 80 MB but it physically uses 140 MB on my device (nearly double the download!)

ESV bible is 19 MB. Total download is 20 MB but uses 23 MB on my device  (extra 3 MB).

Commentaries are more greedy with device space (an extra 5 to 9 MB) whilst dictionaries/lexicons need almost double (2x) the download size.
