Setting default icon for a note file

I keep thinking I should be able to set the default icon for a note to be specific to a given note file, but I can't seem to make that happen. Whenever I set the default icon style and color for one note file, all my note files take on that same default. Unless I am missing something, it would make a lot more sense to be able to set a default icon for each note file.

Hi Wyn - I agree with this.

It would seem very sensible to have a default icon style per notesfile but I can't see any way to do it.

The defaults are not well thought out as there is still a distinction between Note by selection (to which this default applies) and Highlighting using the Tool (use any style). If you use Highlighting you can't be certain of the Note file it will use (the B3 default is "palette specific") whilst a Note by selection will use the "last used" Note file.
