Windows 7 failed on my notebook and I had to reinstall it--thus having to reinstall all my software.
My files were unaffected because I keep them all on the E:\ drive, not C:\. That's where I had installed Logos.
STEP ONE: I tried to reinstall Logos. I received an error that it could not install to a file where it already existed.
STEP TWO: I typed Logos into the search bar to see if I could simply run it. Windows did not recognize it as an installed program (which was what I expected).
STEP THREE: I tried to run Logs from the E:\ drive. It started to redownload everything, which should be unnecessary since it's already on the E:\ drive. It's simply that Windows doesn't recognize it as being installed any longer.
What can I do to reinstall, yet avoid re-downloading and re-indexing?
