Spurious hits from “Match all word forms”

The “Match all word forms” search option is a great feature but it sometimes gives spurious hits of words which are not actual word forms of the searched term. Two examples I’ve run into:  A search expression which includes “conversion” will return occurrences of “conversation” (or vice versa) and a search expression which includes “authority” will return occurrences of “author.”

This is a known issue. Logos matches word forms via an algorithm, not a word list. So sometimes we get these sorts of results.

You could get rid of those, if you want to take the time, by searching for conversion ANDNOT conversation or authority ANDNOT author for example (not that the search operator ANDNOT must be in all caps).
