Yes. Everything you hide at work will be hidden at home, all the collections you build at work will be available at home. There is more that syncs, and if you're curious about other parts of the program, feel free to ask.
Danny, in addition to what Richard shared, there are other things that sync as well (such as reading plans and favorites). The one important thing that does not sync (currently) are "personal books" built using "personal book builder." If you compile a book on one computer, the metadata will sync, but you will still have to compile the book on the other computer. [There are ways to get around compiling on both computers, but they are technical in nature - personally I prefer to use dropbox to sync the .docx files and then compile on both computers].

At work, can choose to turn off automatic updates, then unhide resources, and restart Logos 4 Mac, which may show a dialog box for updates: click X to close without download. Likewise avoid update now and update resources commands. For program updates, can use wiki Mac Troubleshooting => Update Error steps.
