Fr. Breen wrote an Intorduction to the Study of Sacred Scripture that includes a 200 page defence of Biblical inerrancy and reveiws in detail the development of hte Biblical Canon down through the centuries. This is a CLASSIC text and is still considered relevant to Modern Catholic biblical studies.
His Commentaries on the Gospels go into a detailed analysis of the greek texts and analyzes the Parables with regard to their sources in earlier Jewish literature including Inter-testamental works.
This is a superb set at a discount price. Modern reprintings of Breen's 'Introduction ' go for 75-80 dollars each. This is a must have resource!
