Please give us back our Interlinears as separate books and restore PRA's
Everyone who likes these ideas join in and let our voices be heard.
For me it's back to L3
Please give us back our Interlinears as separate books
Bob has already committed to meeting us halfway here. They will not be separate resources, but you will be able to select either the ribbon format we currently have as a view or an "info under the word" kind of a view. I'm not sure where it is on the priority list.
and restore PRA's
I think he's starting to hear enough to put it on the todo list, if it's not already.
I still have my separate Interlinears as separate books. I suggest you check your Library listing. Also L4 seems to set up the PRA's dynamically as well. Click the + sign in the header of the commentary window to a see a list of the paralell resources.

Yup. What I think the OP was referring to was the Reverse Interlinears. They are gone as separate resources and are much wanted.

That's the best we have now. What many of us want is to be able to control what the PRAs are as in 3.0.
I also vote for the return of PRA's!

Perhaps i am not understanding you. Why not prioritise your commentaries and problem solved. Ted
Prioritization is the best we have now.
My reasons for full PRA customization are these:
In 4.0 you cannot exclude other resources you did not prioritize from coming up. That adds to the time the "+" feature needs to bring other things up: things you don't want.
In using the right and left arrow keys to cycle through resources you will eventually run into ones you don't want. In 3.0 you wouldn't get those and the cycle would return eventually to where you started. Now instead of that you have to reverse back through every resource.
We may want to specify resources that are parallel that Logos hasn't seen that way. Perhaps with better tagging this would not be as much of an issue.
In Logos 3 it is just plain faster to select the Parallel Resources icon and go directly to the resource you want because the software doesn't have to rebuilt the "+" resource list every time. (One way Logos could help that is to keep the "+" results open instead of closing it once one selects a resource from the list.)
There has been a lot of talk about this since Beta 1 so I'm sure others may have additional reasons for wanting this ability back in Logos 4.
What Mark said...
Uh huh....
I've just loaded v4 and this was the first shocking revelation (aside from not being able to migrate my notes). Phil you note that "Bob" has already committed to being able to select the old style (which I much prefer) or the new. Is there a time table for this? Thank you.

Note import will be in 4.0b its currently in beta test and seems to be working great (for me). ETA, soon (I hope)
Great, wonderful. I appreciate your quick reply and work on this!

Thank you much Dave! This is good news.
