see my screen capture in above thread. The Enhanced Bible and the Thematic Bible: Topical Analysis do not behave in the same way.
Thank you for separating this issue from the other thread.
If you compare the resource information panel of both The Expanded Bible: New Testament and The Thematic Bible: Topical Analysis, you will see a few differences that account for the different behavior. The Expanded Bible includes Bible text and is indexed by the "Bible (EXPNT)" data type (and Page), and The Thematic Bible: Topical Analysis does not include Bible text and is not indexed by any data types. (The Thematic Bible: Passage Register is a Bible Commentary, does not include Bible text, and is indexed by the Bible data type.)
I'm not sure why The Thematic Bible: Topical Analysis' metadata includes the Bible type. This does seem like a mistake, and as it is already listed on the Metadata Correction Proposals wiki page, I won't pursue it further here.
