Compare Text List
Just installed ver 4 and it imported a list of Bibles from ver 4 how do I change this list in ver 4. I changed it in ver 3 but it does not change ver 4

Could you be a little more precise in what you are asking? We'd like to respond to you very much! I don't understand exactly what you are asking.

Ok I will try again.. On the home page if I enter a Bible verse Logos 4 brings up a default layout (6 blocks) The lower left one is compare text with a list of translations.. Also in the Bible text block the same list of Translations appears. Also the passage guide contains a list of translations. all these list are identical and were apparently imported from the last list I used in logos 3.
How can I change this list? Is it possible to have a different list in the Bible test block than in the two compare boxes?
I have tried changing the list at each location in logos 4 and similar locations in logos 3 but logos 4 always defaults to the original list.

Wiki Getting Started with Logos => Prioritize Library segment has Tips and links for prioritizing.
Home Page "Go" layout includes Text Comparison of Top 5 Bibles. Prioritizing Bibles in library changes Top 5 Bibles (to the first 5 Bibles in Library priority list that have verse reference: if prioritized Bibles do not have verse, remaining Bibles with verse in Library are chosen using Logos 4 defaults).

Many of us, as we became more proficient in Logos4, stopped using the Home Page at startup. You can do this in the very lower left of the Home Page.
Then, we can do "custom" guides and studies as WE determine, choosing which items to look up and display. This saves lots and lots of time.
Be patient with yourself. Enjoy! You will progress in your L4 usages as you become more accustomed to its workings. It's an absolutely wonderful program; and -- once you have tailored it to your desires and needs -- becomes incredibly powerful and useful!

Yes, Passage Guide section for Compare Versions has settings (when mouse is hovering in section title):
Note: if "My Passage Guide" or "My Exegetical Guide" exists (custom guide), default layout from Home Page uses them.
Default layout has Text Comparison in Link Set A, could change to Follow or None, especially if want to change verse reference and/or comparisons. Alternative for Text Comparison is highlighting verse(s) in a Bible then press F7 for pop-up comparison of Top 5 Bibles.
