B5: What's going on with Default Notes Font?

My notes font (or font rendering) has suddenly changed - it reminds me of the whole discussion many versions ago about hinting vs the-other-way-to-do-it ...

Anyways, the way it's done in Beta 5 is the old and hard to read version which I thought had gone ... has this been changed again? Could it please be changed back or could there be an option?

My Default was serif (hard to read?) for header and typed content prior to B5. When I create a note by selection in B5 the header is serif but the content I typed is sans-serif.
