What happened to the pictures and scripture passages on the home page in Logos 4? They used to show up all the time, now with one of the recent updates they have disappeared. I've tried messing with the Customize -> content selections but that doesn't help. Bring them back please. The home page currently looks like nothing but a commercial.

Peace to your, Kirke!                          and  ..........     Great Joy in the Lord                              *smile*

I was a wee bit surprised by your post, so I went over to my HomePage.

Everything appears A-OK on my Logos4 setup.  Just off hand, I can't imagine what could be affecting yours.  Be patient and some other Forum Brothers and Sisters will soon be coming to your aid, I'm sure!

Perhaps you could close L4 and reopen it?                      Perhaps you could reboot your computer?   You might have to re-do your recent update?

Let us know if you find a solution, please.

Here's a screenshot of my HomePage:   (The other pages are OK also, besides page 1)                                                       2 Samuel 22:2

Kirke ... your frustration is shared, but from the opposite direction!

I've had the same passage on mine for I don't know how long. I guess it knows I still haven't memorized it.

And clicking on Home Page requires a full minute simply to show 'something' (typically a resource I've no use for).

I'd give pretty good odds the coding got messed up as the original concept had 'user issues'.

Blessings to Denise and Kirke!                        *smile*

Denise, I don't have that problem at all, not in the slightest.  I have broadband cable, so maybe that's the difference from the troubles you are experiencing.

I don't open my L4 with homepage, but I go over to homepage at least a couple of times a day for my prayer lists and my reading lists.  I consider homepage a real blessing, frankly.

                Kindest personal greetings!                                                       Psalm 145:3

edit........    Denise you know about F5 on the home page to refresh it, of course???

edit # 2 ......    Also, either Ctrl-F5 or Shift-F5 (can't remember which!)          cleans out the cache and one gets to start all over again

Thanks Milford (we're not solving Kirke's problem!).

The Cntrl-F5 does indeed bring in a new verse for me to look at for a few months or so. I stay off-line until I need a resource that's on L3 but not L4.

Interestingly the Contrl-F5 is quick; the click on Homepage takes a full minute. I still think the coding is cludged (logic not clean).

    Kirke,

    Go to Tools->Program Settings.

Make sure the Use Internet setting is Yes.

I think that should get it back.

Thanks for the tip! This refreshed the Home Page and and now the diagrams/pictures and scripture passages show up again!

Thank you, and God bless you for coming to my aid.

    Kirke, :)
